Every company has its own database. Logins are bound to devices, access is set screen by screen, records are never deleted, and AI conversation is off until you opt in.
Targets holds business data that matters: sales, stock, money and people. This article states how it is kept and what leaves your account, in plain terms.
Your own database
Each company has its own database. No other company's users can reach it. Distributors see only their own records within your account.
Access
- A login is bound to the device it signed in on.
- Access groups decide which screens a role can open, and button-level permissions decide what a user can do on them.
- Every order, delivery, stock and voucher action is logged with the user who did it.
Records
Records are deactivated, never deleted, so history stays complete. Reports download to Excel and CSV at any time, and your BI tool can connect to the data warehouse.
Privacy and AI
Reports and the analyser make no AI calls. AI conversation is off until your company switches it on. When you opt in, you are told what context is shared; in most cases only figures and internal codes are sent, never product names or company details.
Hosting
Targets runs on cloud infrastructure with regular backups. Enterprise customers can choose their hosting region. If your security review needs specific answers, ask us and we will provide them in writing.
