Smart attendance is part of every Targets plan. It works differently in the office and in the field, and both feed the same attendance record, leave balances and payroll.
In the office
Checking in from the company network is enough. Head office registers the office network once; staff on it check in with one click.
In the field
The app compares the check-in with the radius set for that user and can require a photo. Breaks are logged with a start and an end. Shifts, off days and holidays are set per user, so run-rate and attendance reports use the right working days for each person.
Devices and scanners
Smart attendance can be linked with live camera streams and third-party biometric scanners for sites that use them.
What managers see
Who is in, who is out, who is on leave and who has not checked in, on one screen. Absences are marked automatically when a day passes with no entry and no approved leave.
