The eight modules, and what each one does
Every Targets login includes all eight modules. This article says what each covers so you can decide where to start.
Targets is organised into eight modules. All of them are included with every login; you switch on what you need and add the rest when you are ready. Each has its own page on the site with the full detail.
Pharmaceutical, food and other regulated distribution businesses run on the same eight modules, with the compliance reporting they need coming from Sales Reports, Accounts and People.
Sales & Distribution
The largest module, in six parts: primary sales from the company to distributors, direct parties and online channels; distributor operations (purchases, warehouses, stock, secondary invoicing, sub-distribution); field sales and delivery on the mobile app; products, pricing, discounts, tax and FBR invoicing; market execution (surveys, merchandising, brand ambassadors, tertiary sales); and seven families of sales reports with dynamic dashboards.
Accounts
Chart of accounts, vouchers with approval, general ledger, trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet. Purchases and sales post automatically, and the company and each distributor keep independent books.
Lead Generation & CRM
Scan business cards and QR codes at events into one shared contact list. Follow-up calls, meetings and emails are coming soon.
People
Employee records, smart attendance, leave and work-from-home, expense and travel claims, payroll with payslips, sales incentives and commissions, and HR analytics for compliance and reporting on headcount, attrition and expiring documents.
Recruitment
Type a job title and Targets drafts the description and the interview. Every CV is scored against the job on a published rubric. Video interviews are recorded and graded. Offers are signed on screen and onboarding follows.
Projects & Collab
A plan generated from a brief, tasks with checklists and timers, budgets, recurring assignments, boards, comments and team chat.
Production & Manufacturing
Vendors, raw material purchases and warehouses, formulas and production runs, and finished-goods warehouses that feed primary sales. The standard flow is included; customisation is quoted.
AI Reports
An analyser on every report that needs no AI call, and an opt-in conversation with an agent that works through your reports, using models from Anthropic, Google Gemini and OpenAI. Reporting for operations, compliance and management sits here and in the Sales Reports pages.
More on Getting started
What Targets is, and what it replaces
Targets is one system for companies that sell through distributors: production, company sales, distributor operations, field teams, accounts, HR and hiring share one set of records.
Getting started: your first day in Targets
Sign in, set up the company, add the first users and load your master data. Small teams can do this in a day; larger rollouts start with one distributor.
Going live: what happens after you sign up
Small teams start the same day. Larger rollouts begin with one distributor and are live in about 45 days, with guided onboarding and no setup fee.
